My Reinstating Struggles

I might not have any hair left after I finish reinstating my firm’s income statement, I breezed through the first two and thought wow, this will be great, everything is lining up, I will be finished in no time. Notice a couple of formatting errors on my first assignment, so fixed those up and all my checks lined up. Then come along the income statement. From looking at a few others in preparation for the feedback I feel a little envious. There categorising seems to be a lot more straight forward than mine. I notice I doubled up on a couple of things and placed in the totals by accident. So, I have been on hunt through my annual reports to try and determine where I have gone wrong. I have watched the video on repeat (which I found the easiest way for me to learn), restarted many times, reread chapter 4 and asked other if they had the same problems as me in an attempt trying to track down where I have made a mistake. I’m feeling very disappointed that I haven’t been able to match my comprehensive income for the year but will continue to see where I have gone wrong until its hand in time. Positive note to the assignment task, I feel my Excel skills have improved! I have learnt from reinstating my firms’ financials statements that London Security PLC business has been improving steadily over the past 4 years.
